APRIL 29, 2009 - The Head Shoppe raises over $30,000 for the Atlantic Dreams Take Flight Chapter!

The objective of Dreams Take Flight is to take children from mentally, physically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds to Disneyland for a day. The Atlantic chapter of Dreams Take Flight provides this opportunity to children from Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia.

Through year-long fundraising efforts The Head Shoppe has proudly donated over $30,000 in 2009 to this year's flight, which marks the 15th Anniversary Flight, scheduled for April 29th, 2009.

This is the second year that The Head Shoppe has supported The Dreams Take Flight Atlantic Chapter, having donated over $60,000 to date toward this amazing cause.

Dreams Take Flight is a national non-profit organization consisting of Air Canada volunteers dedicated to providing the trip-of-a-lifetime to physically, mentally or socially challenged children. The local sponsors and volunteers believe that we can make a major difference in these children's lives by opening a window of possibilities without limitations.
