The Head Shoppe joins Children’s Wish Foundation for the Princess Tea Party Event

Halifax, Nova Scotia, May 2011 —On Mother's Day, the Children's Wish Foundation hosted a Princess Tea Party at the World Trade and Convention Centre and also on May 29th in Sydney at the Membertou Convention Centre, presented by Lawton's Drugs. Mothers, daughters, grandmothers, friends and more came out to experience all things Princess.

Between the Halifax and Sydney events, over forty stylists and associates from The Head Shoppe took part in sponsoring the Princess Parlour portion of this amazing experience put on by The Children’s Wish Foundation that made over 600 little girls’ dreams come true.   The princess parlour offered princess style hair dos, lip gloss and nail painting making each little girl truly look like a princess for the day.

This annual event happens each year on Mothers Day in Halifax and also is held in Yarmouth and Sydney on separate weekends in May. It includes: a tea party of cupcakes juice tea and coffee, a stage show, princess parlour, entertainment, silent auction,lots of princesses and fun, fun , fun! Not to leave the boys out there is also a pirate portion of the event as well! Arrrgh matey!
